The essentials
As a minijob cleaner at Ruiz Büroreinigung Hamburg, you’re part of a real team. No faceless corporation, no temp agency work (Leiharbeit), and zero subcontractors. You take charge of one regular, well-kept office site in Hamburg (a law firm, an IT company, or an agency), with short, predictable hours that fit easily into your everyday life.
We know that good work deserves fair conditions. That’s why we pay above the collectively agreed wage (Tariflohn), starting at €16.00 an hour, and give you full paid vacation. We also support our team beyond the job — for example, with hands-on help finding an apartment through our contacts at SAGA, Hamburg’s municipal housing company, and at local housing cooperatives (Wohnungsbaugenossenschaften), and with government paperwork.

Early bird
Ideal before your main job or classes: you clean the office in peace and quiet before the client’s staff arrive. After that, the rest of the day is yours.

Some office clients request cleaning on Saturday mornings. We assign these shifts only by prior arrangement and only to team members who volunteer.

Experience in commercial cleaning is welcome but not required. Reliability and care matter far more.

Your pay starts at €16.00 an hour, which is above the current €15.00 industry minimum wage in commercial cleaning. On top of that, we pay performance bonuses for especially reliable and thorough work. Your wages arrive in your bank account on time, with full transparency.
Yes. By arrangement, you’ll receive a tax-free gift card worth up to €50 a month. Under § 8(2) of the German Income Tax Act (EStG), this non-cash benefit (Sachbezug) is completely free of tax and social security contributions — so it’s 100% net, on top of your wages.
Absolutely. Even in a minijob, you have the full prorated paid vacation entitlement (Urlaubsanspruch) under the Federal Vacation Act (BUrlG). For example, if you work 3 days a week, you’re entitled to 12 paid vacation days a year (assuming the company runs a 5-day workweek). We calculate your entitlement transparently and plan your vacation with you well in advance.
You work short, fixed shifts of about 1 to 3 hours that are easy to plan around — either in the morning before the workday starts (approx. 6:00–8:30 a.m.) or in the evening after the office closes (approx. 5:30–8:30 p.m.). The main working days are Monday through Friday. Weekend shifts are by prior arrangement only.
No. You’re assigned one regular office site in Hamburg, which you look after independently on a set schedule. You get to know the rooms, the routines, and the quality standard inside out, and you won’t be shuffled from one location to the next.
Experience is a plus, but it isn’t a requirement. Reliability, thoroughness, and a willingness to learn matter more. Every new cleaner is trained on site by experienced colleagues and learns to use the equipment (Numatic, Unger) and cleaning products (Dr. Schnell).
Our cleaners work in the offices of law firms, tax advisors, IT companies, and agencies — confidential spaces with sensitive documents and servers. That’s why a clean police clearance certificate (Führungszeugnis) is a condition of employment. We’re happy to help you apply for one at the local citizens’ office (Bürgeramt).
You should speak and understand German at a B1 level or higher so you can read cleaning schedules with confidence and coordinate with your team. Since our team comes from 11 countries, many of your colleagues also speak Spanish or English.
