You start at €16.00 an hour — more than the €15.00 collectively agreed wage for the commercial cleaning industry, which is generally binding (allgemeinverbindlich) on all employers in the sector. At 20 hours a week, for example, that comes to about €1,380 to €1,500 gross per month. We also pay performance bonuses for especially careful work. Wages are always paid on time at the end of the month.

Yes, 100%. The position is regular employment subject to social insurance contributions. You have statutory health, pension, and long-term care insurance, and you’re protected against unemployment. In addition, all employees are covered by accident insurance through BG BAU (Berufsgenossenschaft der Bauwirtschaft), the statutory accident insurance institution for the construction and cleaning trades.

Yes. If agreed, you receive a tax-free voucher card worth up to €50 a month. Under § 8(2) of the German Income Tax Act (EStG), this benefit in kind is completely exempt from tax and social insurance contributions — so it’s 100% net, on top of your pay.

You’re entitled to full paid vacation under the building-cleaning trade’s framework collective agreement (Rahmentarifvertrag für das Gebäudereiniger-Handwerk) and the Federal Vacation Act (BUrlG). With a 5-day workweek, that’s 28 to 30 paid vacation days per calendar year. We plan vacations together as a team, fairly and transparently.

Depending on the weekly hours you agree on, you work predictable shifts of 3 to 6 hours — either in the morning before the office opens (from about 6 a.m.) or in the evening after it closes (from about 5 p.m.), Monday through Friday. You only work weekends if you explicitly agree to it.

No. You look after your own regular office or law firm sites in Hamburg and clean them independently on a set schedule. You get to know the premises and the people there well — no constant switching from one location to the next.

Experience is welcome but not a must. What counts is thoroughness, reliability, and taking pride in clean work. Every new team member gets comprehensive on-site onboarding and hands-on training with professional equipment (Numatic, Unger) and eco-friendly cleaning products (Dr. Schnell).

Our teams clean high-end premises for notary offices, law firms, tax advisors, and IT companies that handle sensitive data. That’s why a clean police clearance and a standard confidentiality agreement (NDA) are mandatory for every employee. We’ll gladly help you apply for the certificate.

You should understand and speak German at level B1 or higher so you can follow work instructions and cleaning plans with confidence. Since our team brings together colleagues from 11 countries, many team members also speak Spanish or English.
